Sydney Huston's path into the realm of media and communication has been one of discovery, determination, and the pursuit of passion. Born out of a desire to explore new horizons after a brief stint at university, Sydney found herself drawn to the world of media, enticed by its creative potential and endless possibilities.
Her journey into the program at ACC (Assiniboine Community College) was not a straightforward decision. Initially considering options out east, Sydney's curiosity was piqued when her mother, who worked at the college, suggested exploring the media program offered there. A glimpse into the curriculum sealed the deal, and Sydney embarked on a path that would shape her future in ways she couldn't have imagined.

Throughout her time at ACC, Sydney's experiences solidified her passion for media and communication. From the thrill of producing news stories during a trip to Boston to the realization of her knack for event organization during the "Sun of a Beach 2.0" event, Sydney found herself increasingly captivated by the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the field.
Although Sydney hasn't gained experience in the corporate world yet, her time at ACC honed her skills as a storyteller, communicator, and organizer. Through hands-on projects, radio appearances, and collaborative endeavors, Sydney discovered her strengths and aspirations within the realm of media and communication.
As Sydney nears graduation, her sights are set on a future filled with creativity and leadership. Dreaming of becoming a creative director, she envisions herself at the helm of campaigns and commercials, shaping narratives and making impactful decisions. Her experiences at ACC have equipped her with the skills and confidence to pursue her goals, but Sydney knows that the journey doesn't end with graduation.

Facing the challenges of an evolving media landscape head-on, Sydney remains undeterred. She recognizes the potential disruptions brought about by AI and digital advancements but sees them as opportunities for growth rather than obstacles. With a keen eye on the future, Sydney plans to navigate these changes by staying adaptable, embracing new technologies, and seizing every opportunity that comes her way.
